Pulau Ketam...anyone?

Well, dear friends...Crab Island exists in our diverse country and it is surprisingly very accessible from our concrete jungle to nature's treasure - an island that has more than just crabs...

Some may heard of Pulau Ketam because of its specialty on seafood and floating houses...but some may heard of this island due to the unfortunate news where dogs and puppies were abandoned there.

Well, need not feel gloomy but be excited because UNITAR TMC has organised a casual trip to Pulau Ketam - think fun under the sun =)

Members of HELP University TMC will also be joining in this trip.

When? 7 March 2010, Sunday

Time? 8am.

Transport? By the public transport, KTM! =) Unless you have a car to car pool with everyone else.

Chinese New Year Meeting Round Up

The colour red graced our little meeting with some pink and bright orange colours to accompany us. The Chinese New Year meeting involved laughters whereby we learned the rules about dating, comparison between the Twilight series and the fruit; banana, fantastic stories on bikini zombies, third arm and a dangerous millionaire (or hair)

Thank you to all the guests hailing from different clubs who volunteered to be role players! Without you, the UNITAR team would probably be running around with multiple hats =) So, thanks very much and we appreciate your effort to thrive through the unexpected storm in Kelana Jaya.

Thank you to Thompson, our UNITARIAN guest who volunteered to be the first timer timer! He did a good job as he diligently noted the time for each session.

The food was scrumptious,with homemade jelly and sandwiches (yummy!) and sponsored biscuits, potato chips by our Miss President!

Congratulations to Saiful for being the Best Table Topics Speaker as he bagged an ang pow specially from UNITAR TMC!

As for the prepared speech speakers - Vincent Liew with his speech entitled : FIRST Date 101 and Amir with his speech entitled: Can this banana beat Twilight? entertained the crowd with interesting and bizarre facts of life.

So...when will our next meeting be?
