From left: Sarah, Lukreiza, Roy, Julian and Mugilan On the 16th of September, Tuesday a few of our members landed at the doorstep of the PJ Hilton's Club. One of them, TM Lukreiza managed to do her 7th assignment speech and earned good comments from her evaluator, none other than the funny and witty ACB, CL Stephen Fernando. Her speech was interesting and memorable as it has much to do with our handwriting, forcing everyone present on that day to re-evaluate their own writing. Lukreiza must have made an impression in the meeting.
On the other hand,another group of us visited the Universiti Malaya Toastmasters Club. The declaration of holiday for Selangor did us good on the 17th September,Wednesday.It was an interesting day to remembered as the theme on that day was Acronym, making it all shorter to complete a sentence. CC Julian Gan from our club was the GE (General Evaluator), while Hui Shan volunteered for their Table Topics Session. The word of the day suited the crowd really well - a rambunctious bunch of people.
We hope that other clubs will drop by and join us for our future meetings =)
